Investment in equipment.

We have now purchased a Trimble TSC2 controller in our continuing effort to increase efficiency and productivity. This powerful hand held field computer will enable us to complete surveys in a shorter time and perform setting out calculations faster than we have been able to before. We will also have the facility to download/upload files from the office directly to the controller via the internet. This means that if we get to site and find there has been a drawing revision there is no need to go all the way back to the office to upload the revised data.

New web site launched.

With the help of Internet Concepts we have given GM Surveys a fresher feel and our customers a detailed insight of the way we work and the services we offer. The site will continue to grow giving you more information to help you decide the level of service you require. Don't forget to contact us and let us know what you want.

TSA course started

James Burton completed the first of six blocks on the 'Introduction to Surveying' course at The Survey School in Worcester. This is widely recognised as one of the best introductory courses available for students interested in becoming Technicians in the Geomatics industry. Along with the practical knowledge gained on site it should help James to be confident in performing small surveys and basic setting out.
